With over 32 years experience, Ben Fowler is a highly sought after producer and engineer, based in Nashville, Tennessee. Having studied Music Theory and Composition at Bell State University, he went on to gain valuable engineering experience at the legendary Power Station Studios in New York City, now Avatar Studios.
Ben has worked on three albums with rock/blues icon Eric Clapton, including Grammy Award winning album Journeyman (1989, Duck/Reprise), Rush (Featuring the hit song Tears in Heaven, 1992, Duck/Reprise), and 24 Nights (1991, Duck/Reprise), as well as albums with Michael McDonald, Meatloaf and Bad Company. He has worked on multiple albums with Lynyrd Skynyrd, including Twenty (Engineer/Mixer), Then and Now (Producer), Vicious Cycle (Producer/Engineer/Mixer), Face to Face (Producer), God and Guns, (Mixing/Tracking/Drum Engineering), One More for the Fans (Mixing) and various live albums.
More recently, Ben has been busy in the studio recording studio with artists including Kip Moore, Sara Evans, Jason Crabb, Rascal Flatts, Ruby Amanfu, Natasha Bedingfield, Joseph Habedank and Paul Brandt (with whom he has worked on 10 albums to date).
