Born in San Diego, California; Frank Glasson continues to reside in the area, and is prominent in both local performance and education. He holds a Masters Degree in Orchestral Performance from the United States International University, and undertook his Undergraduate Degree at the San Diego School of Performing Music. This, combined with private lessons with notable teachers including Uan Rasey, Rob Roy McGregor, Tom Stevens and Roy Poper - and his extensive performance experience, has helped mould Glasson into the highly respected, in-demand, world-class musician he is today.
Frank has performed with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra (2006-Present), San Diego Symphony Orchestra (1988-Present), Classics for Kids (2004-Present), San Diego Chamber/Orchestra Nova (1998-2012), Broadway San Diego, Old Globe Theater (2001-2011), Starlight Musical Theater (1998-2001), Opera Nomori (Tokyo 2006), Westwind Brass Quintet (2003-2006), San Diego Opera (1999-2006), San Diego Lyric Brass (1998-2004), Cape Town Symphony, South Africa (1996-1998), State Theater Orchestra, South Africa (1992-1996) and Gewandhaus Radio Orchestra, Germany (1990-1992).
Frank currently has a private music teaching studio in Solana Beach, and is an endorsed Artist with the Yamaha Corporation, USA.
