Originally from New Zealand and now residing in Los Angeles, Pam Sheyne has a very impressive career in the music industry. A highly skilled writer, vocal arranger and vocal performer, Pam’s services have been, and continue to be in demand by some of the world’s leading artists.
Pam left New Zealand and relocated to London in her early career, where she enjoyed a highly successful period as a session singer and backing vocalist for major artists including The Pet Shop Boys, Bryan Adams, Elton John, Celine Dion, Mike and the Mechanics, Tom Jones, Lulu, Daryl Hall, Cyndi Lauper and Dave Stewart.
As a writer, her songs have been performed and covered by major international artists, including Christina Aguilera, Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato, Lindsay Lohan, Corrine Bailey Rae, Seal, Sinead O’Connor, The Backstreet Boys, Jessica Simpson, Cece Winans and The Saturdays. She has over 50+ million record selling songs, and 100+ platinum sales, and is an Ivor Novello Award winning songwriter, and 7 times BMI Radio Play Award recipient.
Pam’s music can also be heard on many movies and television networks, including NBC, BBC, Disney and Fox. She has written end titles for hit movies, including The Princess Diaries, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and The Young Victoria, which was nominated for a Golden Globe. On television, her work can be heard on Hannah Montana, Jump In, Camp Rock, Camp Rock 2, Sonny with a Chance, Lizzie Maguire, Beverly Hills 90210, Rosell, King of the Hill, American Idol, Canadian Idol, X-Factor, The Voice, Good Morning America, Fame, and General Hospital, among many others.
Pam is passionate about mentorship and helping aspiring writers hone their skills. She, and fellow Musician’s Council Expert Richard Harris are the Founders of SongWriterCamps, where hit songwriters and industry professionals mentor aspiring artists and writers.
